The Bridge

An internal merchandising intelligence tool that gives Waterworks' tech support team on-demand access to style-level revenue, units, margins, and channel performance — without routing requests through product.

Internal Tooling Data Visualization HTML / JS
Launch the Tool

Working demo with sample data. Try searching Harlow or Sutton, or use the sidebar filters to drill down by category.

The Problem
  • No self-serve access to style-level sales data
  • Every request routed through the product team, slowing response times
  • No way to quickly assess scope during live customer issues
  • No visibility into channel mix, finish trends, or year-over-year performance
The Constraint

A third-party BI tool was immediately off the table — Waterworks' sales data is sensitive and proprietary, and any external platform would require a formal procurement and security review.

Design Constraint Built entirely client-side — no servers, no external APIs, no data transmission. Everything processes locally in the browser, making it functionally equivalent to opening a spreadsheet, but purpose-built and far more usable.
The Bridge | Dashboard
The Solution
  • Zero infrastructure — a single HTML file, runs in any browser, no install required
  • Multi-style comparison — tag multiple styles to view combined performance in one view
  • Cascading hierarchy filters — drill from LOB down to Subtype without leaving the page
  • Live margin calculation — gross margin computed on the fly from revenue and COGS in the export
Measuring Impact

The tool is in active use. Success looks like:

  • Fewer ad hoc data requests routed to the product team
  • Faster scope assessments during live customer issues
  • Higher decision confidence during troubleshooting

Zoom Office

A concept product redesign exploring how Zoom could recreate the spatial awareness and spontaneous collaboration of a physical office for distributed and hybrid teams.

Product Strategy Concept Design UX Thinking
The Problem
  • Remote work erodes the spontaneous collaboration that drives team momentum
  • Meeting-heavy culture creates Zoom fatigue without replacing ambient presence
  • Hybrid teams lack visibility into who's available, where, and doing what
The Solution
  • Interactive office floorplans with real-time employee presence
  • Clickable meeting rooms and break spaces to reduce friction for impromptu calls
  • Department filtering to surface the right people without searching
Key Features
  • Virtual whiteboards and task boards embedded in room views
  • Dedicated break rooms to preserve informal culture remotely
  • VR collaboration support for immersive team environments
Measuring Impact

Success for a product like this lives in behavioral and cultural signals:

  • Increase in spontaneous, unscheduled interactions
  • Reduction in Zoom fatigue scores on employee surveys
  • Improvement in hybrid team visibility and retention
